Give it a chance September 8, 2010 AMW (New York) I love WEN Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner. You have to give it a chance and get used to the fact that it does not soap up like a regular shampoo which takes a little getting used to. Once you do, you can feel the difference if you have to use a regular shampoo and then a conditioner. I have very thin hair with a lot of body, but it frizzies if it gets too dryed out or on a humid day. WEN keeps it soft and silky, and the frizzies to a minimum. You actually save time and money by using this one product instead of 2 -3 other products. I alway make sure I do not run out and have a small travel bottle that I keep in my overnite bag. Give it a try, and try it more than once to get used to it. You won"t be disappointed.
Try it if you dare! September 6, 2010 Jam I love this product, it makes ur hair feel soft and smooth and healthy, i wish it would lather.
Left my hair nasty September 1, 2010 Mark Twain (Midlothian, VA USA) I saw the infomercial and read the reviews about Wen Cleansing Conditioner. Since I have medium length, medium thickness wavy hair that always seems to make me look like a witch, I bought this. My hope was to smooth out my hair and give it a bit more control. Instead my hair ended up heavy and greasy, like it was coated with something. I only used about 10-12 pumps (less than 30-40 recommended), so maybe I didn't clean my hair thoroughly. I'll try it again this weekend (I can't go to work with greasy hair like that).
Based on my experience, I do NOT recommend this product.
amazing August 30, 2010 Grace I really never write reviews for anything I buy online (and I shop online quite a bit), but I felt like I should in this case. I absolutely love Wen. My hair, when I am not using Wen Cleansing Conditioner, is very dry, frizzy, and a little bit wavy. It also tangles very easily and I can feel that I'm losing hair and causing damage every time I brush it. I ordered this bottle of the Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner after I saw a commercial for it on tv and figured I would at least give it a shot since I was so frustrated with my hair. When I first started using it I was a little grossed out because my hair seemed more oily than normal, but I stuck with it and was careful to rinse my hair very well. The longer I used it, the better my hair felt, and my hair also did not get greasy at the roots as fast like it had before. It made my hair super soft, super shiny, tangle free, and actually defined the waves in my hair. After I used up the whole bottle, I decided it was too expensive and that maybe regular conditioner would do the same thing. This worked for a little while, but the condition of my hair gradually deteriorated to the way it was before I used Wen. Now I am scraping together the leftovers from my Mom's bottle of Lavender Wen until my new bottle arrives in the mail, because I don't want to use anything else anymore! The only complaint I have is that the pump does not work very well once you get down to the last inch or so of Cleansing Conditioner in the bottle, but I have just been taking the pump out and shaking out the right amount that I know works best for my hair. Also, I never have used as much as they say to use on the bottle and it has worked out just fine for me. I ordered the Cucumber Aloe to try this time and I can't wait for it to get here. This is like nothing I have ever used before, and has made such a difference in my hair. As soon as I find which scent I like the best, I will be ordering the gallon sized jug!
Greasy, greasy, greasy... August 28, 2010 Harley Chick It smells good but made my hair way too greasy. My hair always looked like I hadn't washed it and forget about styling it. My hair had no volume and would just look very flat like a cow lick... not a good look. I expected that bouncy hair you see on the infomercial but it didn't happen for me.
