the socks were thick and washed well. My son wore them hiking and said they were pretty comfortable.

High quality socks. These have good thickness and are ideal for people who wear boots and are on their feet for long periods. They are really good under work boots but I am sure they will be ideal for hiking as well.

Very warm, comfortable, non itchy socks. Great wicking and fast-dry properties. Overall, I'm very happy with them, but I feel the price was too expensive. However, these were on the cheap side for wool socks, so comparing to other pricier ones on the market lead me to believe these are a great value . I guess I have to get used to the idea of shelling out some money for socks if i want something that performs better than cotton crews!

I bought these socks for my husband who has low blood pressure and can't seem to keep his feet warm. He said it's the best gift I've gotten him...ever. lol They're very soft on the inside without making his feet sweat, and the top isn't too tight on his calf, which is quite muscular. He sent a pair to his father. Highly recommended!

Not only are these comfortable, but they are warm and durable. I've been using them for snowboarding to riding motorcycles and they hold up better than any other socks.
